About This Game

At first, it's familiar arcade fun.

Break bricks. Dodge cars. Stack blocks.

...But what if the ball suddenly becomes two, movement reverses, and targets start blinking?

SWITCHE'RULE is an arcade game where color rules stack up across 10 minigames. The controls and goals you know are still there, but every new rule calls for a new decision.

Same color. The rule comes with it.

As you advance, extra rules are assigned to five colors. Those rules carry into the next minigame, adapting to how each one works.

A rule that barely mattered in one game can become your biggest problem in the next. Spot what's changed in a familiar minigame and find a way through.

Clear the stage, or grab more XP?

Each minigame has a base time limit of 30 seconds. Focus on the goal for a safer clear, or collect more XP to work toward your next item.

Choose items to change the course of your run. Extend the timer, earn more XP, reduce a goal, or influence your next selection. With seconds left, do you grab one more bit of XP or finish the stage now? That's part of the game, too.

Choose who gets to see the rules.

  • Solo

See the extra rules yourself. Work out which colors have changed and how, then find your own way through the chaos.

  • Friends

One player controls the game, while up to seven friends join as guides on their own PCs using a room code. Guides see the gameplay and hidden rules together to help the player. Talk things through using your preferred voice chat.

  • Streaming

Show your viewers the rules hidden from you through an OBS overlay. The streamer faces a game that's suddenly changed; the viewers know why. Work together to clear it.

Another run, another kind of chaos.

  • A 30-stage expedition through cargo delivery, box pushing, brick breaking, platforming, driving, shooting, rhythm, block stacking, wild west shooting, and maze tag

  • Endless mode, where game speed and rule intensity gradually increase

  • Practice mode, where you choose the minigame and difficulty

  • In-game achievements and play records saved on your device

Play with a keyboard or gamepad. Some settings and text entry, such as entering a friend's room code, require a keyboard. Friends mode requires an internet connection, and Streaming mode requires OBS setup. The interface supports Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
