1 screen, 4 coins, and 0* RNG. Yes, it's a puzzle-platformer set in the '70s — not hard to guess. But you're probably wondering why there's an asterisk next to the zero, aren't you?

About This Game

A training ground engineered to hone very specific skills. The rules are dead simple: one single-screen room, four coins. Grab them all and reach the exit. Slip up once — and you start the room over. In the dialect of your era: a precision puzzle-platformer.

Fair concern — on paper, it really does sound like another monotonous nerve-frying speedrun. Except Temple of Patience packs 88 levels across 4 radically distinct worlds, each running on completely different mechanics. Can't vouch for your nerve cells, but monotony definitely isn't on the menu. Here, loaded up a reel for you — see for yourself:

Do I look like a random number generator to you?.. Don't answer that. There is 0% RNG* in this system — make the exact same move on the exact same frame, and you'll get the exact same outcome. Every single time. Play it safe and calculate clean timings, or hunt for shortcuts and ways to break the level logic wide open. And if you die — that one's strictly on your own two hands.

Nobody’s forcing you to speedrun. In fact, honest Bronze clears at your own pace will unlock all four worlds and a trio of outfits. But if you want all 15 costumes in the wardrobe, you’ll have to go beyond simple Gold medals and conquer entire worlds back-to-back in Rush Mode. High risk, proper reward. Let me pull up Nathana's wardrobe so you can see what's at stake:

With great pleasure! Nathana is our protagonist — and the one you'll be helping through these training modules. I won't spoil the plot on a store page, but you'll have plenty of time to get to know her and her rather eccentric family: my memory banks hold nearly 70 scenarios, over 500 dialogue nodes, and well over a thousand lines.

Correction: not a visual novel. First, talking is 100% optional — nobody’s forcing you to read walls of text if you're only here to chase records. Second, Nathana almost always has multiple ways to steer the conversation (whether leaning into her insufferable inner science nerd or her wild imagination), unlocking new topics down the line. How it all clicks together is dead simple — eyes on the monitor:

I'll be waiting in the mainframe. While you make up your mind, here are a few final technical directives on the module:

  • Tactile Telemetry (DualSense & Haptics): Engineered with custom haptic curves for every hazard and action — from a fading heartbeat underwater and portal resonance to dedicated micro-impulses for footsteps and jetpack thrusts on DualSense controllers.

  • Covert User Profiling: The system tracks more than just your medals. I log every habit: whether you compulsively restart three seconds into a run, how long you spend chatting vs. playing, how often you browse the wardrobe, and which personality traits you lean into. Expect a full 10-point behavioral breakdown and one of 4 endings when the credits roll.

  • *The "Actually..." Footnote on 0% RNG: Okay, full analytical honesty: 99% of the game has zero randomness. The sole exception lives in World 4's zero-G space physics, where a reckless speedrunner can intentionally gamble on a 50/50 composite-collider bounce to shave off a second. Consider yourself briefed.
