I'm an independent developer without a traditional game development background, but I've always had ideas for the kind of game I wanted to play.

K.E.N.Z.I.E.: Broken Atmosphere is my attempt to bring one of those ideas to life.

AI has helped me overcome the technical barriers of game development, assisting with programming, troubleshooting, and turning my ideas into working gameplay systems. Generative AI has also been used to create some of the promotional artwork for the game, including Steam store images.

The vision, creative direction, gameplay decisions, and ongoing testing and refinement are guided by me. AI is a tool I've used to help build the game, not a replacement for the ideas and effort behind it.
