About This Game

Bit Universe is a relaxed idle city builder in chunky voxel 3D with a bright retro pixel-art interface. You start with one small town on Earth, ten coins in your pocket and an empty lot. You finish with an economy that spans the solar system.

Build a hundred colonies

  • Place homes, shops and workshops on a hand-made map, then upgrade them. Every upgrade rebuilds the building in a new style, from cottages and cinemas to steel mills.
  • Residents, workers and customers keep each zone in balance: houses supply the workers that industry needs and the customers that shops need.
  • Open new districts across bridges, tunnels and tubes. Finish a colony to move on to the next, and go back to earlier colonies whenever you like. They keep earning.
  • Ten worlds with ten colonies each, from Earth and the Moon to Mars, the Asteroid Belt, Venus, Io, Europa, Ganymede, Titan and Triton. Every world has its own rule to work around.

Grow an economy

  • Buy cars and planes at each colony's dealerships. They fill the streets and skies and bring more income.
  • Research technology, hire a Governor for each colony and pool income in a world fund that every colony can spend.
  • Ship goods between worlds, fill contracts and connect your worlds through the Interworld Treasury.
  • Tap planes, fish, meteors and golden aircraft for bonus cash.

Play at your own pace

  • Your cities earn while the game is closed: half your income for up to 8 hours, rising to all of it for 24 hours as you upgrade Offline Management.
  • Prestige for Keys, a permanent income bonus on every world, and push further each run.
  • 41 achievements, three save slots, day and night, and a chiptune theme for every world.
  • Play with mouse and keyboard or a controller. Windowed or fullscreen, any window size, with frame rate and V-Sync settings.

Desktop and optional PC VR in one purchase

Play on a monitor or arrange miniature cities and panels around you in PC VR. Both Windows versions share the same three save slots: save and close one before switching to the other. PC VR requires a compatible headset, Quest Link with an active OpenXR runtime, and tracked motion controllers. A headset is not required for desktop play.

No ads. No in-game purchases. Just one town that becomes a universe.
