Drop junked cars onto belts. Watch the shredder chew them into scrap, the magnet pull iron from copper, the smelter pour glowing ingots, and the press stamp hubcaps for cash. A cozy, tactile 2D junkyard factory game with an honest finish line — sell the lot or keep optimizing.

About This Game

Rust in. Cash out.

You bought a weed-choked junkyard at the edge of town with one rusty crane, a pile of dead sedans, and a buyer who pays cold cash for sorted metal.

Rustlot is a compact, tactile 2D factory game about turning rusted-out cars into gleaming stacks of ingots, wire coils, and stamped parts. Every piece of scrap is a real physics body with weight, spark, and clatter. There are no spreadsheets to debug and no 200-hour tech trees to grind — just the deeply satisfying clunk-crunch-hiss of a junkyard assembly line you built with your own two hands.

How the Yard Works

  • Drop & Shred: Dump beaters, vans, and muscle cars from the crane bay into heavy twin-rotor shredders. Watch steel, copper, aluminum, and glass burst onto the belts in a shower of sparks.
  • Sort the Stream: Pull ferrous scrap off the main line with overhead electromagnets, or wire up smart splitter gates with four filter modes (Round-Robin, Pass-List, Block-List, and Overflow).
  • Smelt & Stamp: Feed raw chunks into coal-fired smelters to pour glowing ingots, then run them through hydraulic presses to stamp high-margin auto parts, copper coils, and alloy plates.
  • Clear the Jams: Overload a corner or mix the wrong metals into a press and your line will pile up. Reroute belts, drop an incinerator on the overflow, or grab stuck chunks by hand to get the yard humming again.
  • Sign Buyer Contracts: Take on timed rush orders from local foundries and auto shops for bonus payouts, or ignore the clock and build at your own pace.
  • Sell the Lot (Or Keep Going): Pay off your yard upgrades, hit the $50,000 valuation target, and sign the deed to retire on a beach — or turn down the buyer and keep expanding into Endless Shift.

Built to Respect Your Time

  • An Honest Finish Line: Designed as a complete, fat-free 2 to 4 hour experience with a real ending screen — plus Endless Mode and multi-slot saves if you want to chase peak $/sec.
  • Tactile Industrial Audio & Juice: Procedural metallic clanks, shredder crunches, furnace roars, and floating cash popups make every belt upgrade feel heavier and louder.
  • Zero Microtransactions, Zero Filler: One price. Offline single-player. Instant startup, remappable keys, colorblind-friendly scrap silhouettes, and rock-solid 60 FPS performance on everything from ultrawide desktops to handhelds.
