Be the upstairs neighbor everyone dreads.

A little imp lives on the top floor of an apartment building in hell, tormented by the humans stomping overhead. Unable to sleep, the imp switches on an amp. Now it is the downstairs neighbors' turn!

The Devil Upstairs Demo is a free demo of the single-player rhythm incremental game. It includes the content currently implemented in the development build; the full game is still in development. Keep time, earn Rage, invest in your crew, and return for an even louder attempt.

Press F and J as lightning markers reach the amplifiers. Tackle left-and-right patterns and simultaneous hits as you descend. Keep your combo going, land critical stomps, and charge Overdrive to unleash a powerful burst with Space.

Turn every run into lasting progress

Spend your Rage across 38 upgrade nodes with 114 upgrade levels. Improve stomp damage, amplifier power, combos, critical hits, and Overdrive. Buy a small boost now or save for a new recruit: your next investment is up to you.

Wake the neighbors. Recruit the neighbors.

Add chair-dragging, rope-skipping, piano-playing, and drilling devils to your crew. Neighbors from conquered floors can join the party too. Fill the resident codex to make future runs stronger.

Take the party all the way down

Descend through 30 floors with changing rooms, residents, and rhythm patterns. Reach checkpoints at B05, B10, B15, B20, and B25 to begin your next attempt deeper in the building. Keep growing until you evict the Demon King on B30!
