About This Game

Americana: The Dead Years is a first-person voxel survival sandbox set across the towns, farms and back roads of a fallen American county. Fight for supplies, get a vehicle running and find a place to call home. When a wall stands in your way, break through it.

Fight for every supply run

Face zombies and hostile survivors with firearms, bows and melee weapons. A quiet search can become a firefight, and staying alive means knowing when to push forward and when to retreat.

Take the back roads

Salvage parts, repair abandoned vehicles and take the fight onto the road. Fuel, batteries, engines and tyres matter. Keep your ride running and drive through the dead on your way to the next town.

Break your own way in

Smash windows, tear through walls and carve routes through destructible voxel buildings. Scavenge what you need, open an escape route or bring the place down around you.

Build beyond survival

Raise a home in the wilderness, reinforce your shelter and barricade its openings. Rebuild broken bridges to reconnect your routes across the county. Turn the materials you salvage into somewhere worth returning to.

Live off the land

Pursue wildlife through the woods, cast a line by the river and plant a garden. Cook your catch, collect rainwater and boil it before drinking. Keep food, water and shelter in reach as the weather and seasons change.
