“FRENCH DREAM is made by a small independent French team. Early Access lets us put the game in players' hands very early and shape it together with them: combat pacing, difficulty, levels, online co-op.”

“The game will be massively updated throughout Early Access: new levels, new enemies, new weapons, the full story mode, and an ever-richer level editor and online co-op.”

About This Game

ONE HIT. THAT'S ALL. BUT FOR FRANCE!

One bullet kills you. One bullet kills them. No health bar, no regen, no second chance. Every door you open could be the last one.

ANYTHING LYING AROUND IS A WEAPON

Pistol, SMG, shotgun, assault rifle, baton, bottle, baguette. You pick up what you find, you shoot what you have, and when the mag runs dry you throw the gun at the next guy's head.

THE SCENERY BREAKS

Windows shatter, doors give way, crates burst, tables get vaulted. Bodies slide, get dragged and get kicked. Nothing stays where you left it.

A FRANCE YOU DON'T USUALLY GET TO SEE (I think...)

Parts of FRENCH DREAM were created with the help of generative AI tools. This covers environment and prop artwork, some sound assets, and portions of the game's code. All of it was generated during development, then reviewed, edited and assembled by hand before shipping. The player and humanoid enemy sprites were drawn by hand by the developer.

No AI content is generated while you play. Everything in the game is fixed and ships with the build, and the game never connects to any external AI service.

FRENCH DREAM is a top-down shooter built around lethal, fast-paced combat. Characters are killed in a single hit, which produces pixel-art blood, blood splatter on walls and floors, and corpses that remain on the ground and can be dragged or kicked around. Violence is stylised and cartoonish, with no realistic depictions of torture, sexual violence or self-harm.
