About This Game

*Dagong Huanyouji: Work & Travel* is an anime-style 3D life sim set in the Tidering, an original parallel world of five port cities — each with its own streets, language, weather, festivals and pace of life.

Five cities, fifteen neighbourhoods

- Akaneura — a hilltop temple of a thousand lanterns, tiny bars in Akarizaka's alleys, a fish market and a fishing pier
- Chui Kong — ding-ding trams, the hillside escalator, a night market, the jade market
- Yakamoz — the Gull Bridge over the Silver Strait, a domed bazaar, the spice bazaar, tulip gardens
- Mirelle — the river Douce, the Lace Tower, the painters' street, café terraces full of flowers
- Mistford — the River Wend, the Great Hall Clock, red-brick streets in the fog, the Round Playhouse

Each city is one continuous map: ride the tram, the metro or a taxi — or cycle, drive or walk — from the seafront all the way up to the funfair on the hill.

Twenty jobs, and a business of your own

Convenience-store cashier, ramen cook, tea-diner waiter, barista, baker, bazaar haggler, delivery rider, street musician… every job plays differently and levels up. Save enough and you can run your own food cart, rent a fish shop on the pier, freelance at the co-working space — or found a company, lease a whole floor of the skyscraper and hire your friends.

Make a life

- Rent or buy a home and furnish it your way; adopt a cat or a dog
- Cook, grow vegetables, go fishing, buy your own boat
- Your phone has chat, a social feed for your travel photos, a camera, banking, stocks, food delivery and maps
- Mix and match clothes and hairstyles piece by piece, with festival outfits
- Learn the local languages: the more you speak, the better the tips and the prices

Regulars, friends and romance

Fifteen regulars, each with a story. Get to know them by remembering their usual order, then over dinners, dates and trades — become real friends, or fall for someone.

A city that never runs out

Table tennis, penalties, basketball, tennis, badminton, swimming, streetball one-on-one; play the piano at the concert hall (14 original pieces) and give your own recital; karaoke, the Ferris wheel and roller coaster, photo booths, a graffiti wall; eleven festivals, from Lunar New Year and cherry blossoms to Halloween and Christmas, each dressing the streets differently.

A living world

Sun, rain, thunderstorms, snow and fog, day and night, the seasons. When it rains the street blooms with umbrellas and puddles form; at night the lamps, signs and traffic light up one by one. All music and sound is original: footsteps change with your shoes and the ground, and the rain, the waves and the traffic are synthesised live from their real physics.
