About This Game

Hop higher. Don't die.

Three lanes to choose from. A void rising under your feet. Hop one row at a time, hold to jump two, and switch lanes before you hit a trap. There's a safe route up from every position. Finding it in time is up to you.

Watch your landing

Red tiles kill you. Gold platforms give you +10, with trampolines, ice, and sliding blocks along the way. Climb higher for disappearing platforms and moving spikes. A third midair jump or a rare extra life can help you out. Bombs start falling at row 120.

A new world appears every 100 rows, taking you through a city at night, a forest, a glacier, lava, and space. From row 100, you'll also find 13 types of surprise zone, including rockets, balloons, magnets, shields, slow motion, low gravity, mirrors, and fog.

Pick a character. Or draw one.

Unlock 65 characters with coins and collect 40 more from seasonal events. Make your own in the 13×13 pixel editor, with a brush, fill bucket, line tool, and mirror tool. Use a mouse or controller to draw. You can also turn a photo into a character: choose the crop and the game removes the background automatically.

Coins come in values of 1, 2, 5, and 10. The higher you climb, the more valuable they get. Spend them on characters, music, and extras, or use them to continue after a failed run. The soundtrack includes the One Hop Further OST and chiptune classics.

A change of season

20 seasonal events bring new looks, characters, and often music. Some change the rules and have separate leaderboards, such as Moon Day with its lower gravity. You can turn any event off.

Your choice of controls

On a keyboard, press Space to jump, use the arrow keys or A/D to switch lanes, and press Esc to pause. You can also use a mouse, touch screen, or controller, including Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Click or tap to jump; drag sideways to change lanes. Controllers work in every menu, too.
