About This Game

Spreadsheet TD is a tower defense game played inside a spreadsheet. Build a maze out of formula towers and decide how much money to invest in each cell.

No Excel installation required.

Build your maze

Place towers to send enemies through a longer route and keep them within range of your defenses. You can change the layout during combat, as long as enemies still have a path to the exit.

Different maps introduce terrain that affects where you can build and how enemies move.

Draft tower cards

Each run starts with a basic tower. After clearing a round, choose a reward card to unlock another tower type or improve your current defenses.

Combine slowing towers with explosive weapons to hold enemies in crowded lanes. Banks can help fund later rounds, but money spent on income leaves less for defending the current wave.

Research new upgrades

Earn XP as you clear rounds and defeat bosses. Spend it on research to add tower cards and upgrades to the reward pool for future runs, or purchase permanent bonuses.

You’ll still need to draft researched cards during each campaign. Practice mode gives you unrestricted access to towers so you can test combinations.
