Joan Wesk was an agent once. She walked away from that life and tried to leave it behind. Then she came home to find her beloved cat murdered by the people she used to work with, and the rage took over.

Now it's one floor at a time, one room at a time, until nobody from her past is left standing.

Every strike counts.

Joan's attacks and dashes run on cooldowns, so button-mashing gets you killed. Read the room, time your dash, and cut down armed killers with precision. Every slash has to land, and every dash has to count.

• Aim where you look. Joan follows your mouse, giving you tight, deliberate control in every fight.
  
• Know your enemy. Clear enemy indicators let you read every threat in a room before you commit.
  
• A striking blood-red monochrome look. Stark black-and-white pixel art soaked in crimson.
  
• Play your way. Full support for both keyboard and mouse and gamepad.

Joan Wesk took first place overall at the inaugural Game Gauntlet Jam x Santa Fe. It was ranked #1 of 32 entries by the jam's own participants, and it also placed #1 in Gameplay, Scope, and Theme Execution.

Where Joan is headed

The jam was just the beginning. Here's what's coming on the road to launch:

• A growing rogues' gallery. New enemy types that each demand a different approach.
  
• Rooms that fight back. Obstacles and objectives that turn each room into a tactical problem, not just a body count.
  
• Upgrade between the bloodshed. Safe rooms to catch your breath and an upgrade tree to shape Joan's skills.

Handmade by one developer. Every piece of art, audio, and music was created by Cedric Quilal-lan.
