Somewhere, someone found us.

An unknown fleet is approaching, and only one ship can still leave: the Prometheus. The Prometheus Saga is a real-time space management and survival game. Build a colony, hold out against the waves, and prepare for the moment you will have to leave again.

Build

Drills, reactors, refineries, habitats, laboratories: every building counts, and every colonist fills a post. Production follows your choices, and power never forgives excess.

Defend

The waves keep coming back, heavier every time. Radar gives you time to see them coming. Turrets, barrage batteries, railguns, and a fleet of fighters, corvettes, frigates and cruisers that fights ship by ship, in real time, before your eyes. Every weapon has its firing doctrine: against the swarm or against armour, you have to choose.

Research

Two research trees, human and xeno, paid for in different currencies. Enemy wrecks become data; human science climbs tier by tier. Every completed programme can still go to the test bench to gain a few more percent.

Strike back

Raze enemy outposts to ease the pressure, then open the Road Home: twelve systems to clear and then colonise, all the way to the homeworld of those who hunt you. Every world you retake becomes a colony in its own right, linked to the others by your convoys.

Fall back

If a colony falls, the Prometheus withdraws to another, provided its warp drive is charged. Its hold carries what it can of the stockpiles, your research leaves with it, and the rest burns on the ground. But when the last one falls, there is nowhere left to go: the Prometheus breaks apart, and the game ends. Its passengers, for their part, settle every world you retake.
