What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“A large battle can turn on a small decision: where you expand, which units you build, or when you pull back. We want players to help us find what works across all of those choices. Early Access gives us room to improve army balance, AI opponents and zombie battles through real matches, while we test multiplayer and develop the rest of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Armed Supremacy to be in Early Access for approximately 12 months. During that time, we plan to expand the Challenges and zombie modes, develop multiplayer, and work on the campaign. This is an estimate, and it may change based on development progress and player feedback. We will share updates on Steam as we get closer to the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add a campaign and build on Skirmish, Challenges and zombie modes with more content and refinements. We also intend to develop the initial multiplayer test into a more complete experience, alongside improvements to AI, balance, performance and usability. Player feedback will help shape the order and scope of that work.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Armed Supremacy has not launched yet. The current development build includes Skirmish against AI, base building, research and upgrades, land, air and naval combat, and optional zombie hordes. Watch Battle, AI Workshop and generated maps are also part of the current build.

For the Early Access launch, we are preparing Challenges and zombie modes alongside Skirmish, and aim to include an early multiplayer test. Multiplayer is still in development. The campaign is planned for later. We will update this section before launch to describe exactly what the playable release includes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to launch at a lower price during Early Access, keep that price unchanged throughout Early Access, and increase it for the full release. Players who buy during Early Access will receive the full version at no extra cost. We will announce the price increase on Steam before it takes effect.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use Steam Discussions for feedback, bug reports and conversations about balance, AI behavior, Challenges and zombie battles. Multiplayer testing will be another important source of feedback as that mode develops. We will post development updates and patch notes on Steam so players can follow the changes.”

About This Game

Command the whole battlefield

Armed Supremacy is a real-time strategy game about building a base, developing an army and taking it to war. Secure resources, keep your factories working and fight across land, sea and air. A tank assault can open the road into town. A flank, a fresh wave of infantry or a well-timed air strike can decide who holds it.

Pick your style. Same battlefield.

Choose from three graphics styles: Light, Dark and Cel Shading. Switch between them at any time during a match. The look changes; your army, your orders and the gameplay stay the same.

Bring in the heavy guns

Bring an A-10 into a ground battle and watch its attack run from above. Cannon fire, missiles and explosions cut across the front as your ground forces keep fighting below. Time the strike to support an advance or help a position that is about to fall.

Build the army you want to command

Light tanks make the first push. Bastions and heavy tanks carry the main assault. The Allied Mammoth takes punishment at the front; the Rebel Railgun Tank trades that protection for long-range firepower. Each faction has its own arsenal. Support your tanks with armored transports and artillery, then choose where each unit fights.

Call in A-10 attack runs, fight for the skies with jets, or keep Apache gunships close to your ground forces. Armed Hueys and Black Hawks bring another option to the battle. Aircraft have different jobs, and a well-timed attack can rescue a ground force that is about to be overrun.

Make the angle count

Keep your strongest armor facing the enemy and look for a way around theirs. Armor facing, impact angle and penetration affect direct hits. Explosive weapons bring a different kind of damage.

Choose formations, move infantry into cover and occupy buildings to hold a street. Troops need a clear line of fire. Pull experienced units back when a position becomes too costly, then regroup and try another approach.

Fight for the sky

Send fighters after enemy aircraft while attack planes strike the ground below. Use helicopters to support an advance and keep air defenses close enough to protect it. The best ground army still needs to watch what is coming overhead.

Take the war offshore

Build warships, protect your carrier and fight for the coastline. Naval guns and missiles bring another threat to the battlefield, while carriers give your aircraft a base at sea. Coordinate the fleet with the fighting ashore and make the enemy defend more than one front.

Build a base that can sustain a war

Place refineries on mineral deposits, build factories and airfields, and protect important positions with walls and gates. Resources are finite. Expanding brings new income and forward production closer to the fighting, but gives you more ground to defend.

Research ground, infantry, air and naval technology to unlock new units. Improve weapons and protection, reinforce buildings and develop defensive systems. Units earn up to three veterancy stars through combat. Keeping them alive matters.

Break the siege

When a position will not fall, bring heavier weapons. Shell occupied buildings, strike the defenses holding up your advance and protect your own base from the response. Long-range missiles and nuclear weapons can devastate a defended area. Missile defenses give you a way to fight back. Battles continue after dark, with tracer fire, missile trails and explosions lighting the streets.

Survive the night

At sundown, the horde starts moving. With zombies enabled, your war against the other armies carries on while something else closes in on your base. Reinforce the gates before dark. Cover the approaches. Decide how many troops you can afford to pull back from the front.

Once the dead reach an entrance, every gap in your defenses matters. Hold the line long enough to get through the night. Adjust the horde size and growth in match settings to choose how much pressure your army can take.

Hold the gate

Put machine-gun towers on the approaches, tanks at the entrance and infantry along the perimeter. Keep helicopters nearby when the horde starts coming from another direction. The first line may fall. Give the survivors somewhere to retreat, and keep firing until morning.

A last stand in town

Garrison the church, cover the motel and hold the crossroads. The streets fill from more than one direction. A tank can buy time, but it can still be surrounded; an occupied building can become a trap when its walls give way. Fight for the next street while there is still a way out.

Choose your next battlefield

Fight on prepared maps or generate a new one. Experimental GPS generation lets you bring a real-world area into the game as terrain, roads and buildings; coverage and detail depend on the location.

Play Skirmish against AI or set up Watch Battle to see armies fight. In AI Workshop, shape how an opponent builds, expands, defends and attacks, then test its strategy in a match.

Early Access plans

We plan to launch in Early Access with Skirmish against AI, Challenges and zombie modes, and aim to include an early multiplayer test. Multiplayer is still in development, so expect it to change as we test and improve it. The campaign is planned for later, as we work toward the full game.

Windows is our current development platform. A native macOS version is planned for Apple Silicon Macs (M1 family or later) with more than 16 GB of unified memory. The provisional minimum is 24 GB. Mac compatibility and performance still need testing; final requirements may change.

We are localizing the interface into English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Greek, Russian, Polish, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Menus and settings already support these languages; some gameplay and mission text remains in English while translation continues.

This page shows development gameplay. We will confirm the launch lineup before Early Access begins.

Fight for your hometown

Put your hometown on the front line. Choose a location on the world map, download its geographic data and turn it into a battlefield, with roads, terrain and buildings drawn from the real place.

Defend familiar streets, fight for a river crossing or bring the fleet along the coast. Try your own city, then take the next battle somewhere else in the world.

GPS map generation is experimental. Coverage and detail vary by location.
