What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Dungeon Weaver is close to feature-complete in terms of its core mechanics, but shaping a satisfying dungeon management experience takes player feedback. Early Access will help me refine the balance, progression, and economy based on how people build, manage, and defend their dungeons.

It will also give me time to improve the game’s visual presentation, with better pixel art and animations for minions, bosses, buildings, and more. My goal is to use Early Access to polish both how the game plays and how it looks, with the community helping guide that process.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm planning a two months of early access after the inital release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I'm planning a full release of the game with the following features:
- Better pixel art for all minions, bosses, terrains, and items.
- Multiple floor support to dungeons.
- Activators and activator-based puzzles for dungeon design. Like levers and buttons that can trigger events or open doors to manupilate the NPCs navigation paths.
- More localization options.
- More buildings, items, minions, terrains.
- More story, worldbuilding and immersion elements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game already has all the core mechanics implemented but requires more content for each mechanic. Also, the game balance is in nearly-untested state will require a lot of polishing to do.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I'm not planning increasing the price tag.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I see player suggestions, bug reports, and experiences shared through Steam Discussions as an important part of development. Feedback on game balance, the economy, and progression will be especially valuable in helping me prioritize improvements.

I plan to share development updates and patch notes regularly to keep the community informed. I also look forward to hearing players’ thoughts as I improve the game’s pixel art, animations, and interface.”

About This Game

You already know how to clear a dungeon. It's time to reverse the roles!

Dungeon Weaver is a tower defense auto-battler game, where you can build your very own dungeon and populate it with your minions as you wish. Connect rooms through narrow passages, choose your entrance, and defend the route to your boss. Build an open battlefield or a chain of defensive chambers, then discover how your layout performs when all sorts of adventurers arrive to your dungeon to slay you and claim your loot!

Build a defense worth invading

You have many tools to defend your dungeon. Place campfires to deploy your minions. Defend passages with flame turrets, slow intruders with tar pits, and distract them with mimics. Invest in mining shafts, training grounds, and support structures, then upgrade your buildings to strengthen their effects.

Once combat begins, creatures move and use their abilities automatically. Different parties of warriors, mages, priests, hunters, and other adventurer classes challenge your defenses. Defeat one party and a stronger wave follows. Damage and losses carry between waves. Adjust the battle speed, watch the clashes, and turn what you learn into a better plan for your next run.

Return stronger after every run

Earn gold and creature experience, then develop your creatures' attributes as they level up after a run. Build your fame to unlock room for additional bosses. Loot the adventurers juicy treasures, push your wave records, open higher difficulty tiers, and discover whether your old formation can withstand a tougher enemy.
