NyARES is an auto-battler roguelite where your cat soldiers' combinations and positioning decide the fight. Stack differently shaped seals to empower your soldiers, study the enemy lineup, and deploy your expedition on a hex battlefield. Once battle begins, the cats fight on their own. You decide whom to develop and where they stand.

Stack seals to build your own combinations

Stamp seals of various shapes onto a board where each soldier has a place. The cells a seal covers determine which soldiers receive its effects. Concentrate several effects on one soldier or spread them across your expedition. Rearrange your seals as you collect new ones to discover better combinations.

Prepare for victory before the battle

Hold the front with shieldbearers, attack from the rear with archers, and support your allies with healers. Choose your deployed soldiers and formation around each class's roles and traits. Watch automatic battles unfold and find clues for your next combination and deployment.

Follow the rewards your expedition needs

Choose whether to recruit more soldiers, acquire new seals, or gather supplies. Compare rewards at branching paths, and grow your expedition through shops and events. Taking on elite enemies and bosses means making the most of the soldiers and seals you have found.
