A peg roguelite made of light. Drop sparks through glass pegs, split them into red, green and blue with prisms, and mix them back into white for huge scores. Every hit plays a note. Place new pegs between rounds, beat each round's target, and see how far one run can go.

About This Game

One spark. Then thousands.

You drop a single spark of light at the top of the board. It hits a glass peg and chimes. It finds a prism and splits into three: red, green and blue. Those find more pegs and more prisms, and somewhere near the bottom two of them meet and turn yellow. Get all three colors together and you make white light, the big one.

By the time everything lands, one spark has become a few thousand and the board has played you a little tune. Then you drop the next one, a bit smarter.

How a run works

Each round gives you five drops and a score to beat. Your score is Light times Brilliance: pegs add Light, mixed colors raise Brilliance, and white light multiplies it.

Beat the target and you pick a new peg, spend your Shards in the shop, and place your pegs right onto the board, wherever you think they'll do the most damage. Miss it and the run is over. A full run is four acts of three rounds, about half an hour, and the last round of each act is an Eclipse that changes the rules.

Nothing is timed. You can lose, but every fall is nice to watch.

It sounds good on purpose

Every hit plays a note, and the notes always fit together and land on a soft beat, so even a messy cascade sounds like music instead of noise. Red sparks play marimba, green ones play bells, blue ones a soft pad, and white light sings a choir chord. Play it with the sound on.

Made of light

There's no drawn art in the game. Everything you see is simulated physics: glowing glass, colored trails, and colors that really add up on screen, so red and green light overlapping actually looks yellow.

What's inside

  • Over 30 kinds of pegs. Prisms, filters and mixers, novas that double every beam, springs, portals, and black holes that swallow everything and spit out one heavy white spark.

  • Peg levels. Level up a kind and every one of them on your board gets stronger for the rest of the run.

  • Crystals. Rule-benders: prisms that split four ways, white light that throws off extra sparks, one more drop when you fall short.

  • Different sparks. Heavy ones that smash through, tinted ones that start in color, ghosts that slip past glass.

  • The Constellation. A night-sky skill tree that unlocks new pegs, Crystals, boards and starting kits. It gives you more to play with, not bigger numbers.
