About This Game

Epic Boss Fighter is a boss rush shooter with an upgrade shop, and a hero who would rather be doing anything else.

The newspaper says huge epic beasts have come to conquer Earth. Everyone agrees there is only one person who can stop them. That person is Blast, and his first reaction is "Why only me? Don't they have an army or something?" He goes anyway. He has nothing better to do.

Every fight is you against one giant boss on a single screen. Blast shoots nonstop, so all you need to think about is where to stand. Dodge bullet fans, lasers, falling comets and charging tanks, clear out the small bugs before they swarm you, and keep an eye out for weak spots that take five times the damage.

You will lose. That's fine. Every coin you picked up comes home with you, and the shop has plenty to spend it on: more bullets, more damage, faster shots, more hearts, faster legs, a bigger coin magnet, an energy shield, up to three helper droids and, eventually, a robot suit with a bomb. Then you go back in and get a little further than last time.

Ten bosses stand in your way: a giant bug, a tank with a spinning gun wheel, an eye that hides in holes in the ground, a very angry cactus, an alien sorcerer, a bigger tank covered in gun turrets, a rock golem, a robot that keeps healing itself, a landed alien ship with its own repair crew, and something huge waiting at the very end. Beat them all and Endless mode opens up, plus Insane mode for anyone who still wants more.
