About This Game

You steer. She fights.

Succubus Crawler is an active 3D incremental dungeon crawler, not an idle game. A succubus walks the dungeon on her own and casts her spells automatically, with the camera riding right behind her.
  • Steer: move left and right to line up her shots and dodge enemy fire.
  • Choose: pick an upgrade every time she levels up.
  • Grow: between runs, spend your gold on the sigil tree and come back stronger.
It all begins with one small Fire Bolt. Stack enough sigils and that same bolt hits for huge numbers.

A stolen father, a lone awakening

In the Progenitor's castle, deep in the Demon Realm, three sisters lay in a long slumber beside their father, the first of all succubi. Then the Great Demon King stormed the castle, bound their father in chains, and dragged him off to the Demon King's Castle. Only Lily, the youngest, opened her eyes, with nothing left at her fingertips but a tiny flame. Wake her sisters and bring their father home.

Short runs, lasting growth

Each run starts on the first floor of a zone you choose. A floor is 400 meters, about three minutes of walking, with a boss waiting at the end. Beat it and carry your level, spells, and artifacts down to the next floor; beat the boss of a zone's third floor to conquer it and open the next zone. Fall or quit midway and you still keep the gold from that run.
Gold goes into the Abyssal Sigils, a 111-node sigil tree for each sister with five branches: her own magic (Fire Magic, Frost Magic, or Lightning Magic), Vampiric Might, Wealth, Fate, and Curses. Most nodes are shared: unlock one once and it powers up all three sisters. Some deeper nodes also cost Essence. Defeat bosses or hold out in Survival to earn Progenitor Essence, plus Fire, Frost, or Lightning Essence depending on which sister fought. At the far end of the tree waits one final sigil that reclaims all of her lost power.
The floor that crushed you yesterday is a stroll today.

Three sisters, three elements

At first, only Lily, the fire sister, is awake. Conquer Zone 1 to awaken Lucia (Frost) and Zone 2 to awaken Lauren (Lightning). Each sister has five spells, her own magic branch, and her own level-up cards.
  • Lily · Fire: Fire Bolt flies straight ahead, Fireball explodes and knocks enemies back, Fire Wall rises in their path and burns and slows anything that crosses it, Inferno races forward along the ground and leaves lava behind, and Will-o'-Wisp hops from enemy to enemy.
  • Lucia · Frost: Ice Lance pierces through its target, Frost Nova blasts nearby enemies and erases incoming bullets, plus Blizzard, Icicle, and Frost Orbs. Stack Chill until enemies freeze solid.
  • Lauren · Lightning: Zap never misses, Chain Lightning jumps between enemies, plus Thunderstrike, Ball Lightning, and Thunder Ward. Build up Charge to set off a Discharge.
Each spell can equip one variant at a time: turn Fire Bolt into Scatter, Piercing Lance, or Homing, or switch Inferno to Fire Pillar or Magma. There are 11 variants per sister, 33 in all, and once you buy one you can swap it in and out for free.

8 zones, 24 floors, and weaknesses

Start in the Underground Labyrinth and push through the Witch's Swamp, the Frozen Citadel, the Sorcerer's Woods, the Lava Fortress, the Ruins of War, and the Crystal Hollow to the Demon King's Castle. Every zone has three floors, each ending in a boss fight, and the Great Demon King awaits on the throne at the very bottom.
The Frozen Citadel is weak to Fire, the Lava Fortress to Frost, and the Crystal Hollow to Lightning. Bring the right sister to deal bonus damage with a higher crit chance while taking half damage. Bring the wrong one and you deal less and take more.
Enemies come at you in small packs, and some fire from range. Bosses cycle through attack patterns such as fanning waves, walls with a single gap, and shockwaves that race across the floor. Ground attacks and shockwaves mark their path ahead of time, so read the floor and sidestep.

Different choices every run

  • On level-up, pick one of three cards: an upgrade for a spell you have, elemental mastery or a status effect, or a new spell unlocked on the sigil tree.
  • Treasure chests on every floor let you pick one of two artifacts, such as Heart of Hellfire, Devil's Pact, Demon Lord's Horn, or Phoenix Feather.
  • Spend Essence on the Artifact screen to awaken each artifact twice (Awakening Ⅰ and Ⅱ). Each awakening adds an extra effect whenever you find that artifact in a chest.

Endless Mode and Survival

  • Endless Mode (unlocks after conquering Zone 3): all three sisters go in together. Switch between them with 1/2/3 or LB/RB and keep descending as enemies grow stronger with every floor. Your best distance and floor are saved as your record, and Steam Leaderboards rank you against other players by total distance and floor reached.
  • Survival (unlocks after conquering Zone 6): four stages, each a 15-minute fight to survive in a round arena where you can move in any direction. You earn Essence instead of gold, and each sister unlocks one of her Synergy artifacts at the 5-, 10-, and 15-minute marks (9 in all).

Costumes and poses

On the Costume screen, pick outfit, hair, skin, and eye colors for each sister. Lucia also has a horned model. The first time you defeat the final boss of each of Zones 1–7, you unlock a special pose such as Greeting, Smile, or Surprise (7 in all). Hair and clothing sway with every step.

Features

  • Active incremental, not an idle game: walking and casting are automatic, while you move left and right to aim and dodge.
  • Move with the keyboard (A/D or arrow keys) or a gamepad's left stick, and push forward (W/↑) to pick up the pace. Partial controller support: the Costume screen still needs a mouse.
  • Keep your gold when you fall. Each sister has a 111-node sigil tree (191 unique nodes across all three).
  • 3 sisters, 15 spells, 33 variants.
  • 29 artifacts (20 base + 9 Synergy artifacts unlocked in Survival), each with Awakening Ⅰ and Ⅱ.
  • A 24-floor campaign across 8 zones ({{about N hours}}) with a short story, plus Endless Mode (with Steam Leaderboards) and 4 Survival stages.
  • Steam Cloud saves.
  • Settings for resolution, display mode, frame rate limit, V-Sync, and volume. Screen shake and damage numbers can be turned off.
  • English, Korean, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese text (no voice acting).
