About This Game

Welcome to System 95! The antivirus is not responding, errors are multiplying, and the desktop is overrun with viruses, spam and pop-up ads. The system's only hope is you — an ordinary mouse cursor.

Every program is a level

Notepad, Calculator, Painter, Minefield, Solitaire, Explorer, Media Player, Command Prompt and more. Each program plays by its own rules: smash the calculator's buttons, dodge spreading paint, and watch the text cursor write a diary in Notepad.

Two systems

• The colorful System 95 — 10 program levels plus guardians.

• The 1-bit Kometa 7 — 10 more levels in black and white.

Features

• Guardians — boss windows with their own phases and attacks.

• Setup Wizard — build your loadout from dozens of upgrades.

• CPU overload — fire too much and the system hangs, and the blue screen isn't far behind.

• Defuse minigame between sectors for bonus rewards.

• Modes: Campaign, Daily Run, Assault, Gates and Boss Rush.

Controls

Mouse and keyboard, or a gamepad with vibration. Fully playable on Steam Deck. English and Russian.

All systems and programs in the game are fictional. The game contains flashing lights and screen flicker, which can be reduced in the settings.

AI tools were used during development, mainly as a programming assistant. All of the game's graphics, animations and sound effects are generated procedurally by the game's code rather than by AI image or audio generators. The game design, levels, characters and ideas are made by the developer. AI was also used to help translate the game's text into Spanish, German, Chinese, French and Italian, and to help draft store texts.
