About This Game

Earth needs a 500 MB defense patch. You have dial-up. And Mom needs the phone.

56k to Save the World is an incremental management comedy played inside a fictional 1990s desktop. Connect, earn Baud, buy upgrades, and keep the download alive while phone calls, popups, and unwanted software compete for your attention.

When the connection drops, your downloaded bytes and modem hardware survive. Spend the Patience you've earned on permanent upgrades, take a breath, and dial again.

- Manage a desktop of draggable windows, dubious upgrades, and a sarcastic assistant.

- Upgrade your modem and automate ordinary popups with antivirus software.

- Defend your connection through mouse, keyboard, or controller controls.

- Pause whenever you need. Your current run saves, with no offline penalties.
