Live the story of a Frisian skating family across three generations and three legendary editions of the Elfstedentocht: 1986, 1997 and 2027.

From darkness to darkness, skate 200 kilometres across frozen lakes and canals, through eleven historic Frisian towns. Every decision has consequences. Your energy, warmth, morale and physical condition are constantly at stake.

Do you stop to help a skater who falls right in front of you, or keep going? Do you join a group that's skating faster than you can handle? Do you push through the pain, or risk losing precious time to recover?

Between towns, you take control of the skating yourself, stroke by stroke. Each edition follows its historical route, weather conditions and prevailing winds. Along the way, you'll encounter unforgettable characters, experience the unique atmosphere of the Elfstedentocht and uncover the secrets of a Frisian family in which too much has been left unsaid.

De Tocht combines a choice-driven visual novel with survival mechanics and interactive skating. Manage your strength, face difficult decisions and discover how your choices shape both the race and your family's story.
