About This Demo

Ranch Attack: Farmer on the Run Demo is the first twelve waves of the full game, free. The same fast, funny 3D arcade runner: one farmer, an endless farmyard of goats with bad intentions, and the real fun of catching one. Grab it mid-charge, hold on, and fling it down the road into its friends. Goats knocked into goats are where the big points and the combo chains live.

What the demo holds

• Waves 1 to 12: the pig from wave 6, the charging buck from wave 10, and the bull's first appearance at wave 12. The demo ends after wave twelve; the full game keeps going.
  
• The Gear Barn, open: outfits and herds earned by playing. Flips, jumps, waves and scores all count toward the ladder, and what you earn is kept. Nothing is for sale. Everything is earned.
  
• Perfect waves: throw every goat in a wave, no jump-overs, for a bonus that grows with the wave number, plus two hay bales to keep you standing.
  
• Three difficulties, the trophy ladder, and your career saved on your own machine.
  
• Power-ups: the horseshoe for double score, the hay bale to heal.
  
• Keyboard, gamepad, or touch.

The herd is not your friend

• Standard: your everyday charging goat. Respect it anyway.
  
• Bighorn: bigger, faster, and it hits the hardest.
  
• Tiny: small, slow, and easy to misjudge.
  
• Rage: looks like any other goat until it gets close. Then it sees red.
  
• Jumper: hops just when you thought you had it timed.

Then from wave 6 a squealing pig darts in, fast and hard to catch. Catch it anyway: a thrown pig is the only thing that can drop a charging buck.

In the full game

• Waves 13 and up, endless, with the bull on the road for good.
  
• The second farmer: the Classic Farmer, earned the hard way, ten thousand career flips.
  
• The original prototype, as a bonus: the very first Ranch Attack, playable from the Gear Barn's BONUS tile once you have earned its trophy.

Your demo career carries into the full game on the same machine.
