Many paths to victory.

Explore an elaborate procedurally generated castle filled with switches, levers, spinning floors, hidden doors and enchanted hallways. Weapons and key items can help unlock secrets and alternate routes with different levels of risk and reward.

This is the run.

If you lose, you start again. Your items are lost and the castle's layout changes. All that carries over is your skill and experience, and no two runs are the same. Who knows? This might be the one.

Fight with style.

Parry and dodge to take enemies down quickly, cleanly and with a flourish. Every move costs stamina, so time your actions carefully. Some combos let you take down multiple enemies with one move and certain items grant new combat abilities.

Fearsome bosses.

Each exit is guarded by a challenging boss encounter that will take everything you've got. They always drop the best loot.

Manipulate the elements.

Enemies and objects can be enflamed, frozen, drenched, shocked, poisoned or cursed, and each state changes how they and the dungeon around them behave. Melt ice with fire, chain lightning across multiple drenched enemies, or freeze an enemy to put a temporary stop to the effects of poison.

Bend the rules with magic.

Turn invisible, open portals, possess enemies, teleport objects and summon creatures to fight alongside you.

Trap your enemies, not yourself.

Sight-line ballistae, timed cannons, proximity bombs and magic circles can take down foes without you lifting a finger. Just be careful not to trigger them yourself!

Bring a friend.

Escape together in 2-player local co-op. Team up to take down tough bosses, activate 2-person switches and set up elaborate traps that wouldn't be possible alone.
