About This Demo

The Tang dynasty is coming apart. Warlords fight for territory, and the roads west grow dangerous. When his adoptive father is murdered, You is blamed and escapes toward the Western Regions with a military tally. Pursuers follow. In desert towns, ruined caverns, and oasis settlements, each clue ties the violence of the present to a seal from the past.

**Travel and investigate**

Choose your route on the strategic map, then explore towns, wilderness, and ruins up close. Speak to people, examine scenes, and follow evidence to the next destination.

**Learn and fight**

Study martial arts from manuals, equip different weapons, and consider range and positioning in turn-based encounters.

**Travel together**

Meet potential companions and manage your party and equipment. Commissions, supplies, and the people caught in the conflict give your journey its stakes.

Some threats can be fought. Others begin with the choices people make.
