About This Game

In 1,000 MONTHS, each square is one month of a life. The grid fills as you move from childhood into adulthood and old age. Days accumulate. Relationships change. Some things are yours to choose. Others happen without asking.

MAKE CHOICES AS YOU GROW

Your earliest years are mostly beyond your control. Small choices gradually give way to decisions about study, work, relationships, where to live, and how to spend your time.

Some choices return years later. Others leave only a small trace.

SEE WHERE YOUR TIME GOES

Sleep, work, commuting, care, waiting, screens, and routines accumulate over a lifetime.

Some long-term choices show an estimated time cost before you decide. Revisit your Timeline and see how your choices, habits, and circumstances shaped the life you lived.

1,000 MONTHS is intentionally silent, built around a minimalist grid and text-based interface.

Choose from five month speeds. Time pauses for choices and key reading screens, giving you as long as you need to decide.
