About This Game

Three heroes. One dangerous climb.

Emberspark is a turn-based JRPG roguelite about building a party that works together. Battle from the Sunken Dungeon through the Lowlands to the Mountains, choosing your route and shaping your heroes with the rewards you find. Turn a clever setup into a devastating follow-up, then face the fire waiting at the summit.

Build Your Party

Mix damage, healing, protection, and control across ten classes, including unlockable Rogues, Druids, Necromancers, and more. Bring three different classes or double down on a favorite. Choose who receives each stat reward, learn new skills, and evolve abilities at rest sites to give them new effects. Your starting lineup is only the beginning of your build.

Turn Setups Into Splash Combinations

One hero sets the stage; another follows through. Melt an ice setup with fire to spread Wet, then strike with lightning to jump to another Wet enemy. Shatter ice with a physical attack, or trigger Armor Cascade against a revealed foe with weakened armor to spread damage and armor reduction to nearby enemies.

Reactions can consume the status that made them possible. Decide whether to cash in now or keep that setup for another hero. The in-game Combat Guide explains elemental and physical combinations, while splash effects and spell impacts bring them to life on the battlefield.

Unleash Your Party Limit

Unlock Party Limits through permanent progression and build a shared gauge with damaging actions. Charge carries between battles, letting you save a coordinated move for the moment you need it.

Your class composition shapes the Limit, with each living hero contributing damage, protection, healing, or another class-specific effect. Duplicate classes have their own combined sequences. Find Limit relics that reward your approach, from taking damage to attacking at full health, and build toward more frequent activations.

Find the Relics That Make It Click

Stack bonuses and discover interactions that turn a useful skill into the heart of your run. Build around stronger splash damage, wider reactions, or relics that turn successful combinations into healing. Pair those effects with your evolved skills and Party Limit to see how far a lucky set of rewards can take you.

Choose Your Path and Your Risks

Branching maps offer battles, elite encounters, shops, rest sites, and uncertain events. Each region brings its own scenery, orchestral music, and enemies. Distinct elites and support creatures heal, protect, or strengthen their allies, giving you a reason to rethink who falls first. Some foes even absorb their own element, rewarding a change of approach or a relic that breaks through their defenses.

Come Back With New Possibilities

Earn points from finished runs to unlock classes, skills, relics, supplies, Party Limits, and permanent training. Choose which unlocks enter your reward pool and equip starting skills and relics before setting out again.

Conquer the climb, unlock higher difficulties, and work toward Endless mode and Prestige. Inspect your party during a run, revisit finished builds in Run History, or save and continue when you are ready for another battle.
