What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“A lot of this game comes from what players do to each other. We want more groups to put the heists, physics and traitor objectives through their paces, then use that feedback to improve the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re planning on around 6–12 months. That may change depending on feedback and development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add variety through more maps and tasks, and improve physics interactions, balance, performance and multiplayer stability. Player feedback will help decide what comes first. Plans may change.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version supports online heists for 3–6 players. It includes one bank map, with some rooms and loot placements changing between matches, along with safe cracking, cooperative tasks, valuables that can lose value when damaged, and different secret traitor objectives each match.

Stunned players can be taped up. Bound players can be carried or suspended from ropes, and can struggle or swing to try to escape. Proximity voice chat is included. The crew must meet a loot quota before time runs out. The getaway vehicle is one seat short, so one player gets left behind.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the same base price throughout Early Access and at full release. We may reconsider if the scope changes significantly. We’ll let the community know about any price changes.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll collect feedback through Steam Discussions, playtests, bug reports and our official Discord server. Tell us what broke, what felt unfair and what did or didn’t work when you played with your friends.”

About This Game

Unframed is a physics-based heist and social deduction game for 3–6 players. Break into a bank with your friends, crack safes and carry the loot to the getaway. You need to meet the quota before time runs out. Not everyone in the crew wants you to succeed.

Handle with care

Valuables aren’t the only things you can carry. Tape up stunned players, haul away bound crewmates or leave them hanging from a rope. Be more careful with the loot: damaged valuables can lose value. You’ll also need a helping hand with stubborn doors and cooperative tasks.

You’d better have a good explanation

The traitor gets different secret objectives each match. Work out who’s helping and who’s making a mess of the job. Talk things through over proximity voice chat, and listen out for conversations nearby. Bound players can struggle free; anyone left hanging can swing to try to escape.

The last seat

Meeting the quota doesn’t get everyone home. The getaway vehicle is one seat short, and someone is getting left behind. The friend who just helped you carry the loot might now be racing you to the same seat.
