About This Game

Bowling Alley Afterlife

Charon, ferryman of the Greek underworld, has traded his boat for a bowling alley, a series of dark, winding lanes where the skulls of the damned are bowled through the ruins of their memories. You wake up as a freshly-deceased skull rolling through the underworld. Steer, jump, and drift across your past as you rediscover who you were, how you died, and whether that life is worth fighting for.

• 3D-Platformer: Roll, jump, and drift through 8 unique lanes! Every lane is ranked on your time, and hitting pins knocks seconds off your timer.

• Narrative: Every lane is built from a core memory of a relationship from your past, with flashbacks, dialogue, and everyday objects strewn around that abstractly tell the narrative of what happened and who you were.

• Talk to Charon: After each lane, chat with Charon and his buddy Bowley as they bicker and joke about your past and their personal issues. Score S-ranks in lanes to pique Charon's interest in your plight for a second chance at life.

What is Studio Aspen?

Charon's Corner is made by Studio Aspen, a mock-AAA, student-run studio with over 70 students participating in the 2025-2026 academic year. This has been our biggest project yet, and we're releasing the finished product for free!
