What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Fine Dining Fraud is a co-op game, and co-op chaos is best tuned with real groups of friends playing it. The core loop is playable today: cooking, serving, lying to guests, the mafia debt and the first chapter with its boss evening. We want your feedback on balance, difficulty and what makes the evenings fun before we build the rest of the campaign.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on the feedback and how the remaining chapters come together.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to complete the campaign with more chapters and boss evenings (a wedding, a dinner with the Don, a Michelin inspector), add more recipes and kitchen equipment, more guest types and theme nights, Steam achievements and cloud saves, controller support and more accessibility options, plus balance and performance improvements based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable solo or in online co-op for up to 4 players with proximity voice chat. It includes the first chapter of the campaign with the health inspection boss and its endings, eight dishes across several stations, buyable equipment and furniture, upgrades, reviews, theme nights and chaos events. Expect rough edges, bugs and balance changes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. Fine Dining Fraud is free to play during Early Access and will stay free after the full release. We may offer optional paid DLC later.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read the Steam discussions and reviews and run playtests with players. Bug reports and suggestions shape the priorities of each update, and we post patch notes for every update so players can see what changed because of their feedback.”

About This Game

You can't cook. You owe money to the mafia. You just opened a fine dining restaurant.

Fine Dining Fraud is a chaotic co-op cooking game for 1–4 players. Run La Fraude, a "luxury" restaurant in a building that was cheap for a reason, serve picky guests, lie to their faces when it goes wrong, and keep Don Metlloviconi's envelope full. Every third day he comes to collect.

COOK (SORT OF)

  • Toast

  • hot dogs

  • soup from a packet

  • fried cheese

  • steak

  • pizza

  • schnitzel and fries.

Buy the equipment, carry the crates in, build your own kitchen layout.

Plates run out, food goes cold, the freezer door locks from the outside.

Nobody knows why.

SERVE AND LIE

Seat guests, take orders, run plates through the pass.

Wrong dish? Burnt steak?

Tell them it is a deconstructed signature dish. Say it like you mean it, your microphone decides how convincing you sound.

Critics, gourmets, nervous first-daters, grandpas and the odd celebrity all want something different.

SURVIVE THE EVENING

  • Fires, oil spills, food poisoning, guest rushes and a hot microphone in the worst moment.

Theme nights: romantic dinners, football fans after the match, gourmet night, pensioners, company parties.

Chapters end with a boss evening, starting with a very thorough health inspector.

PLAY TOGETHER

  • Online co-op for 1–4 players through Steam, invite your friends from the friends list.

  • Proximity voice chat: whisper in the kitchen, panic in the dining room.

BUILD A REPUTATION

  • Earn stars, read your (honest) reviews, buy furniture, upgrades and a little dignity.

  • []Paint your own pictures for the walls. Hire Jean-Pierre. Pretend it was the plan all along.

  • The goal: a Michelin star. Before anyone tastes the food.

Free to play.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Pre-generated content only (nothing is generated live while playing):
- Character voice lines and some sound effects were created with AI voice/sound tools (ElevenLabs) from scripts written by the developer and selected/edited by hand.
- Some 2D artwork (e.g. the menu emblem) was made with AI image tools and edited by the developer.
- Development was assisted by an AI coding assistant, including scripts that procedurally build the low-poly 3D models; the developer directed and reviewed all content.
- Store page capsules and screenshots are rendered from the game itself.
