Why Early Access?

“Halaskârgazi is a project that combines a historical setting with espionage and strategy mechanics. We chose Early Access to shape the game with feedback from history enthusiasts and strategy players. We are especially interested in your thoughts on NPC behavior, ideological drift, the difficulty balance of mini-games such as telegram decoding, and the flow of historical events.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current estimate is roughly 12 to 18 months in Early Access. This may change based on player feedback and the course of development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add the following features in the full version:

Maritime shipment and patrol mechanics on the Black Sea route
A courier logistics network stretching from Kastamonu to Ankara
New operations covering the Sakarya and Great Offensive period

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently playable and includes the Introduction chapter and the post-Mudros chapters. In this version, players can:

Found a society and recruit or dismiss members,
Develop their agents' ability trees,
Manage the society's ideology,
Decrypt and relay secret coded telegrams,
Drive vehicles and manage their inventory,
Engage in conflict and organize shipments to Anatolia.

The game is in Early Access; bugs and balance issues may be present.”

“The game's price may change when the full version is released. The Early Access price has been set based on the game's current content.”

About This Game



The Armistice of Mudros has been signed, and the Allied fleet lies anchored in the Bosphorus. While occupation patrols roam the streets, the fate of a nation rests not only in the hands of diplomats at their desks, but with the Halaskârgazi patriots organizing in dark streets, hidden lodges and basement print shops.
Halaskârgazi is an espionage and strategy game set in occupied Istanbul. The game is in Early Access: the first chapters of the period are playable, and later periods are planned.

BUILD AND RUN YOUR INTELLIGENCE NETWORK

Take command of the Karakol Society, the Felah Group or the Mim Mim Organization. Open safe houses in Istanbul's historic districts (Sultanahmet, Galata, Pera, Üsküdar, Kadıköy, Sirkeci), assign field agents and learn the occupiers' moves before they make them.
  • 10 Professions and Specialties: Officer, Journalist, Porter, Merchant, Medic, Street Tough, Cleric, Fisherman, Technician and Socialite agents.
  • 40+ Operational Skills: Document leaks, code breaking, sabotage, bribery, assassination, forged seal engraving, ox-cart mobilization and running an underground print shop.
  • Period Soundscape: Looping sounds that reflect the atmosphere of the era (burning fuse, creaking ox-cart, Morse ticking) play while operations are underway.

A RACE AGAINST TIME AND DETECTION

Every operation is a race against time and discovery. Complete your operation before the British Military Police, the French gendarmerie and local collaborators reach the area. When patrols raid a building, it is up to you whether to withdraw or risk a firefight.

MORSE AND TELEGRAPH DECRYPTION SYSTEM

Communicate secretly over telegraph lines with the Representative Committee (Heyet-i Temsiliye) and Mustafa Kemal Pasha in Ankara. Listen to Morse signals, turn cipher discs to break codes, and secure the shipment routes of officers crossing into Anatolia.

Sway public opinion through period newspapers such as İkdam, İleri and Hâkimiyet-i Milliye. Organize rallies inspired by historic events like the Sultanahmet Rally, turn popular support in your favor and increase the pressure on the occupation command.
