Cthulhu Descends is a top-down action roguelite inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos. Fight through relentless hordes in a pixel-art abyss, combine weapons, hero talents and relics, and build the strength to challenge an ancient god.

FROM A SINGLE WEAPON TO A DEVASTATING BUILD

Every run begins with a basic weapon. Gain levels through combat, choose talents and evolve your hero as your build takes shape.

Send chain lightning bouncing through crowds, deploy drones to fight at your side, or pull enemies together with a black hole. Combine these abilities to discover new ways to survive the next wave.

BUILD YOUR OWN PLAYSTYLE

Experiment with heroes, weapons, talents and relics to create different combat combinations. Explore branching upgrades, hero evolutions and ultimate skills, then put your choices to the test against increasingly dangerous enemies.

GROW BETWEEN RUNS

Your progress continues beyond each battle. Develop your permanent talent tree, unlock more heroes and expand your relic options.

Equip, fuse and absorb relics, and assemble sets to strengthen your build for tougher challenges. Each run gives you another opportunity to refine your approach.

FACE THE ANCIENT GODS

Survive fifteen waves in Normal Mode and confront the final boss. Push your build further in Endless Mode, or take on the dedicated challenges of the Boss Tower.
