Why Early Access?

“Realistic Football Career is built around interconnected career progression, match decisions, player development and transfers. Early Access will allow us to develop and balance these systems together with players, while gathering feedback on how believable, challenging and varied different football careers feel.
Our goal is to make every career feel unpredictable rather than following a guaranteed path to success, and community feedback will be especially valuable in achieving that balance.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Realistic Football Career to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.
However, development will be guided by player feedback and the state of the game, so this timeframe may change. Our priority is to reach the level of depth, balance and polish we want for the full release rather than committing to a fixed release date too early.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to offer a deeper, more varied and more polished football career experience.
During Early Access, we intend to expand and refine career progression, player development, match situations, transfers, career events and the overall balance of the simulation. We also plan to improve the variety of situations a player can encounter throughout a career based on community feedback.
The exact scope may evolve during Early Access as we learn which systems and features have the greatest impact on the experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the core playable career loop of Realistic Football Career.
Players can create a footballer, choose a position, begin with a set of starting attributes, join a club, train and develop their abilities, play matches, make decisions during key match situations, progress through their career and receive opportunities to move between clubs.
The core systems are playable, but balancing, content variety, progression and presentation are still being actively developed and refined.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to change the price when the game leaves Early Access, although this may be reconsidered as development progresses.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of the development of Realistic Football Career.
We plan to actively follow Steam Discussions, our Discord community and player feedback, particularly regarding career progression, match decisions, difficulty, training balance, transfers and whether different career paths feel believable and rewarding.
Players will be able to share suggestions, report issues, discuss balancing and tell us about their career experiences directly through Steam and Discord.
This feedback will help us identify balancing issues, improve existing systems and decide where additional variety or depth is most valuable.
We want Early Access players to be part of shaping Realistic Football Career into a more unpredictable, believable and enjoyable football career simulation.”
