Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“Hello Triangle is built level by level, and player feedback helps shape its direction. During the demo, players showed us where the editor got in their way and where the difficulty jumped. Their feedback led to changes in both the tools and the levels.
Early Access lets us develop the later acts with that same feedback, while players build, test, and optimize their own GPUs.”

“We currently expect Early Access to last about a year. We plan to release the remaining acts in separate updates, though the timing may change based on development progress and player feedback.”

“We plan to expand beyond the first two acts with three additional acts:

- Speed: Tiles and multiple cores working together, the ideas behind what makes a GPU fast.
- Surfaces: Textures and the memory behind them.
- Programmable: A shader core that runs a supplied program.

We are also considering features such as a creative mode, exporting circuits to Verilog, and importing your own 3D models and scenes for your GPU to render. These are possibilities we want to explore with the community, rather than confirmed additions.”

“Acts 1 and 2 are complete, with twenty levels taking you from lighting up half a screen to rendering a solid cube turning in 3D, all drawn by your own circuit.

Every level can be solved and scored. Parts you build carry forward into later levels, giving you a reason to revisit and optimize earlier designs. The first two acts offer several hours of play, with more time for experimenting and chasing better scores.”

“We may increase the price as new acts are added. Players who buy during Early Access will receive those updates and the full release at no additional cost.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i udviklingsprocessen?

“We welcome feedback through Steam discussions, reviews, and email. Reports about confusing concepts, difficulty spikes, editor frustrations, and bugs help us decide what needs attention.

Demo feedback has already led to changes in the game, and we plan to continue that approach throughout Early Access. We also plan to share devlogs and release notes explaining what has changed and how player feedback helped shape those decisions.”

Om dette spil

Ever wonder how your GPU draws a triangle? Build one.

Hello Triangle is a puzzle game about building graphics hardware. Each level gives you a picture to draw and a bench of working parts: comparators, adders, multipliers, registers. Wire them up, press Run, and watch your circuit draw it, pixel by pixel.

  • See every mistake. A wrong pixel is marked on the picture. Click it and step back to the cycle your circuit drew it.

  • Hardware, not code. No loops, no functions. To do something again, build a counter. To do two things at once, build a second unit, and pay for the board space.

  • Build first, name after. Each level describes its problem in plain words. What you built earns its real name only once it works. Then it's yours, saved to your parts bin for the levels ahead.

  • Smaller, faster. Every working circuit is scored on its area, delay and cycles, and your best is kept for each level.

No GPU knowledge needed

If you know a little math or programming, you can play. You start from working parts, not logic gates, and each level asks only for what the levels before it taught. Piece by piece the parts add up to a GPU, and you built every one of them.

A GPU that lives in the game

Your GPU runs inside the game's simulator: every pixel on the screen is computed by the circuit you wired. Though it doesn't run CUDA or OpenGL, and it won't replace your graphics card.

Early Access

Early Access has Acts 1 and 2, from lighting up half a screen to a solid cube turning in 3D, drawn by your own circuit. Later acts are planned for the full game: speed, textures, and a programmable shader core.
