Why Early Access?

“We want to develop Spaceship Evolution with the community while its content and systems are still taking shape. Player feedback will help us improve combat, ship building, exploration, progression and performance.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently hope to spend around six months or less in Early Access. This is an estimate, not a fixed release date. The timing will depend on player feedback, the scope of improvements and the time needed to make the game ready for a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our target for the start of Early Access is Sol plus at least four explorable star systems beyond it: Aster Reach and three more. During Early Access, we plan to add content gradually and expand the game with more places to explore, missions, ship-building choices and progression. We also plan to improve balance, performance and usability based on community feedback. The scope and priorities may change during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current local development version includes Sol and Aster Reach, with perspective-shifting space combat, modular ship building, a walkable bridge and crew, on-foot exploration and mining, orbital jobs and stations. We are preparing an expanded version for the start of Early Access, targeting at least four explorable systems beyond Sol. The three additional systems are planned and are not yet part of the current playable build. Content remains incomplete, and balance, performance and usability are being refined. Bugs remain and features or progression may change. This description will be updated to reflect the build available at the Early Access launch.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We intend to offer the game at a lower price during Early Access and increase the price for the full release. The final price has not yet been decided.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Please use the Steam Discussions for Spaceship Evolution to share suggestions, bug reports and your experiences with combat, ship building, exploration and progression. We plan to use that feedback to guide priorities, improve balance and usability, and investigate technical issues. We also plan to share development updates and explain significant changes through Steam.”

About This Game

Your next upgrade starts with your next adventure.

Spaceship Evolution combines space combat, exploration, and modular ship building. Start with a small spacecraft, take on dangerous missions, and gather the rewards and resources you need to make it stronger.

Fight through changing perspectives

Pilot your ship through enemy waves, dodge incoming fire, and face powerful bosses as combat shifts between side, top-down, and chase views. Your weapons fire automatically, leaving you to focus on flying, positioning, and choosing upgrades that shape your build during each run.

Land, explore, and mine

Take a break from combat and step outside your ship. Explore planetary and lunar landscapes on foot, search for valuable deposits, and use your mining laser to uncover materials for your next ship upgrade.

Build a ship of your own

Expand and reshape your spacecraft with modular parts. Add weapons, improve your defenses, and balance power with mobility. Your choices change both how your ship looks and how it performs in battle.

Return to the bridge

Your bridge is the hub between adventures. Walk among your crew, plan your next destination at the holographic console, and invest your earnings in lasting improvements.

Head into battle, bring home rewards, mine the materials you need, and rebuild for the next challenge. Each trip gives you another reason to launch—and another way to evolve your ship.
