You're monkeys with a simple plan: get out. It quickly becomes clear that there is more than a fence between you and freedom. Escape The Zoo is a chaotic third-person adventure for 1–4 players: play solo or team up online. Explore unusual places, meet eccentric characters and work your way through an escape full of unexpected detours.

Climb high. Watch your step.

Climb through treetops, balance across tricky courses and keep your nerve on slippery platforms. Sometimes you need a well-timed jump; sometimes you need the right moment to slip away from a pursuer. Your route takes you through different habitats, dark passages and strange places beyond everyday zoo life. Look around, find your way and try again when a misstep sends your plan sideways.

One crew, one shared escape

Create an online room, share the room code and begin your escape together. Shared mission objectives and checkpoints keep the adventure connected, even when everyone has a different idea. Plan your next steps, wait for one another and collect the items that help you move forward. Optional proximity voice chat lets you talk to nearby teammates during the adventure; everyone in the room can hear you in the lobby.

Make time for monkey business

Take a break from the grand plan and challenge your friends to soccer, volleyball or a friendly boxing duel. These activities bring a little competition to your crew, while soccer and volleyball also offer solo practice. Choose a monkey that suits your style, then use dances and emotes to celebrate a clean jump or react to a spectacularly bad attempt.

A strange trip with a retro look

Low-poly worlds and a retro visual style give the escape its own character. Platforming challenges meet pursuits, silly encounters and plenty of monkey mischief. Follow the story at your own pace, discover new areas and work toward your shared way out.
