About This Demo

One year at the forge. Lives that reach beyond it.

After the death of a human mentor, an undying elven smith returns to a silent workshop. Rekindle the forge, craft magic swords, and meet the people who come through the door.

• Run your workshop for one in-game year (24 turns), choosing materials and forging blades while tending the shop.
  
• Learn about your visitors and decide which sword to entrust to each person.
  
• After the year ends, advance time to witness the lives of your blades' owners.
  
• Select the demo continuation option on the full game’s title screen on the same PC to resume with the same people, swords and funds.

The full game carries your workshop onward with more materials, recipes, visitors and returning blades. Your first year can become the beginning of a longer story.

Generative AI was used during development as a coding assistant and to assist with drafting and translating store-page and marketing text. Some pixel-art assets were rendered by deterministic drawing code written with AI assistance; the final images were not directly output by a text-to-image or diffusion model. All shipped and published content was reviewed and edited by the developer. No generative AI runs in the game, and no content is generated from player input.
