About This Game

From the gene lab to the woodland arena, prepare your creature for the next event. GeneJinks: Sports Festival combines creature breeding, skill builds and sports you play yourself. Make your choices before the match, then decide when to move, sprint and use your skills.

Find your partner among six creatures

Meet six distinctive creatures, each with its own look and signature skill. Choose a favorite, learn its rhythm in training and find a play style that suits you.

Breed your next contender

Collect gene imprints from creatures of the same species, compare their attributes and choose a pairing to breed a new partner. Decide which qualities you want to develop, then take the results back to the arena.

Build a plan, then put it into motion

Explore skill upgrades and branches as you prepare for different events. Once the match begins, take direct control of movement, sprints and skill timing. Your preparation sets up the possibilities; your next move puts them to work.

Take on seven sporting challenges

Knock rivals out of an arena, fight for space on a sliding platform, steal tails, leap through rings, compete to light up targets, navigate a chase course and race through the forest. Practice individual events in free training, then enter the sports festival and compete for a better finish.

Enter a four- or eight-contender festival

Choose a single-player festival with four or eight entrants. Multi-contender events in an eight-entrant festival use two heats of four followed by placement matches, with no more than four creatures in each match. Arena clashes and light-up contests use head-to-head matches.

Play solo or compete online with friends

Alongside single-player, the game supports player-hosted online matches. One player creates a room and hosts the game, while friends join over the internet to compete together. Single-player remains available.
