You decide what gets written down

"Recording" is the only action in this game. Faced with a testimony or a piece of evidence, you may enter it into the case file — or let it go. Two records that cannot both be true are flagged as a Contradiction, and the game never tells you which one is real. What you are allowed to see at the end depends on what you chose to write down.

Twelve cases, one thread buried across eleven chapters

From The Rouge Case to Painted Skin, from Yingning to Xi Fangping — twelve stories, each with its own grievance, all leaving handwriting in the same ledger. The man whose name was never written in the prologue will be waiting in the last chapter.

Six endings, and not one of them clean

Keep the ledger. Return it. Burn it. Leave it unnamed. Two more are hidden where you would least think to look.

Eleven "one mistake, one reason"

A wrong choice never means "game over". You get a short failure scene, you learn exactly what you got wrong, and you are put back where you were.
