Why Early Access?

“We want Pinball Pub to feel like a place you and your friends make your own, from fixing up the arcade to trying to keep it standing through the night. The core game is playable, but there are parts we still want to improve. Early Access gives us a chance to hear what you enjoy, what feels frustrating, and what breaks when friends pile into the same pub. We want that feedback to help shape the work ahead.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're aiming for around 2–3 months in Early Access. That's an estimate, and we may need more time depending on testing, the remaining work, and the issues players help us uncover.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more handmade pinball tables, decorations, and ways to customize your pub, along with a wider variety of enemies, weapons, and stat upgrades. We'd also like to refine the balance, make the game's systems easier to understand, and improve stability. The scope may change as we learn from development and player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You can currently play alone or in online multiplayer. Restore and decorate the pub, play pinball, serve beer, manage your soldier customers, scavenge in The Mall's Backrooms, and defend against The Infestation. Most of the main gameplay systems are in place, but the selection of pinball machines and decorations is still limited. Expect bugs and rough edges, including balance issues and problems in online multiplayer.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer a lower price during Early Access and increase it for the 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Tell us what happened in your pub: a bug, a confusing mechanic, a battle that felt unfair, or something you'd love to see more of. We plan to use the Steam Community discussions to gather bug reports and suggestions, and to share development updates. Details about what you were doing and whether you were playing alone or with friends will help us investigate. We can't promise to use every suggestion, but we want your experiences to help us decide where to focus.”
