Why Early Access?

“Grave Rats thrives on unpredictable teamwork and physics-driven chaos. We want players to help us refine the scares, balance, and multiplayer experience while we expand the game.”

“We currently expect Early Access to last around 18 months, depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the environments, enemies, corpse curses, equipment, and cosmetics, alongside improvements to atmosphere, performance, and multiplayer.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core co-op loop is playable: explore generated graveyards and crypts, collect valuables, haul and bury cursed corpses, and escape. Enemies, weapons, upgrades, cosmetics, voice chat, and a wipeout arena are already included. Oh, and a secret rubber room!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may increase the price at full release to reflect the additional content and improvements.”

About This Game

Team up as grave-robbing rats in a world of physics-driven horror. Drag bodies, fumble valuables, and try to keep your crew together when things go wrong.

Scavenge valuables, stuff them into corpses, and haul your haul to the grave. Finish the burials, then get your crew back to the extraction lantern.

Some loot comes with baggage. Haunted bells make corpses moan, dancing shoes send them shuffling, and spectral candles dim nearby lights. Keep the curses under control while you carry on.

Spend your haul on weapons and upgrades before the next contract. Customize your rat with unlocked cosmetics, then head back out for another questionable payday.
