You've been hired to work the night shift at an isolated psychiatric institution. At first glance, the job seems simple: take care of the patients, perform maintenance tasks, and make sure everything keeps running until the end of your shift.

But working at night in this place is different.

The hallways become a little too quiet. Some areas don't feel quite as safe when the lights begin to fail. And after spending a few hours inside, it becomes difficult to ignore the feeling that something is wrong with this place.

Even so, the work must go on.

🏥 COMPLETE YOUR SHIFT

Each shift brings different responsibilities throughout the institution.

Explore the hallways, take care of the patients, perform tasks across different areas, and work to complete your duties before the shift ends.

Some will be simple.

Others will force you to go exactly where you'd rather not be.

👥 ALONE OR WITH A FRIEND

Face the night alone or share the workload with another player in 2-player co-op.

Working together can make your duties easier. You can split up to save time or stay together when exploring alone doesn't seem like a good idea.

Just don't expect another person's presence to make the place safe.

And don't always assume you're both experiencing the same night.

🧠 DON'T LOSE CONTROL

The longer you spend inside the institution, the more important it becomes to take care of more than just your responsibilities.

Pay attention to your surroundings, manage your resources, and think carefully before deciding where to go and what to bring with you.

Running away won't always be an option.

Sometimes, you'll still have a job to finish.

🔦 EXPLORE THE INSTITUTION

Patient rooms, infirmaries, hallways, service areas, and restricted sections form an environment you'll gradually learn to navigate shift after shift.

Objects can be found and used, equipment requires attention, and different parts of the building carry their own risks.

A flashlight can make exploring a little more comfortable.

As long as the battery lasts.

Completing your responsibilities earns you money and allows you to prepare for the shifts ahead.
