What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows us to gather player feedback while improving performance, balancing combat, and adding more content to the map. We want to refine both solo and co-op gameplay with help from the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 3–4 months. This estimate may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to improve optimization and stability, add more content and points of interest to the map, and further refine combat, progression, and co-op gameplay.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes solo play and online co-op for up to four players, enemy waves, base defense, turrets, multiple weapons, loot, equipment, artifacts, and a skill tree. The map is still being populated with content, and players may encounter bugs, balance issues, and performance problems.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price when the game leaves Early Access to reflect the added content and improvements.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can share suggestions, report bugs, and discuss the game through the Steam Community forums. We plan to use this feedback to help prioritize fixes, balance changes, and improvements.”

About This Game

Your home won’t defend itself. Especially when its owner is a pig with a shotgun—and the uninvited guests are a horde of zombies.

OrcWay: Hogacy is a base-defense action game for solo players or teams of up to four. Fight off enemy waves, gather resources and loot, place turrets, and keep your home repaired. Staying alive is only half the battle—you also need to protect what’s yours.

Your Home Is Your Last Line of Defense

Prepare your defenses, choose positions for your turrets, and watch your home’s condition. When enemies reach the walls, you’ll face a choice: keep shooting or grab a hammer.

Out of Ammo? You Have Options

Keep your distance with a revolver, shotgun, or assault rifle. Switch to an axe or chainsaw when things get personal. Feeling resourceful? Even severed enemy limbs can become weapons.

Switch between first- and third-person views and face the next wave your way.

Loot, Equip, and Grow Stronger

Collect weapons, clothing, and upgrades, search for chests, and earn random artifacts by clearing waves. Equip two artifacts on your belt at once and combine their effects to suit your playstyle.

Level up to earn skill points, then invest in survival, combat, or engineering. Toughen up your character, increase your damage, or make your turrets more effective.

One Home. Up to Four Defenders.

Fight alone or team up with friends in online co-op. Share items and split the workload: hold back the horde, gather supplies, or save the house with a few last-second hammer swings.

Just make sure you’re holding the right tool.
