What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The core combat loop and foundations are playable, but the game's depth, breadth, and balance are far from settled. We chose Early Access because the weapon system, enemy design, level mechanics, and stat framework all need real player feedback before we can find the right direction. Community discussion and play data will directly help us decide which systems deserve deeper work, which designs need to change course, and how to prioritize content for 1.0.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect 6–12 months. That window will shift with the volume of community feedback and the pace of our iterations. If discussion and testing needs for certain systems far exceed expectations, we may extend this phase so the direction is properly validated rather than rushed to a close.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will expand on Early Access, not just finish it. The story will grow from the current 2 main levels into a complete arc. The roster of weapons and enemies will increase significantly, though their design direction—leaning toward tactical combinations or action reflexes—will be settled by player experience and discussion during Early Access. Level mechanics and stat frameworks will keep evolving through community feedback. Whether systems such as potential voice acting and extra modes make it into 1.0 will depend on how strongly the community wants them. We won't lock in a checklist that's disconnected from how people actually play.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This version is a complete, playable vertical slice: 2 playable characters, 2 main-story levels, and the foundation that supports combat and progression. But "playable" does not mean "final." Weapon progression, enemy behavior, level pacing, and difficulty curves are all still being validated, and their final form will depend directly on player feedback and data from Early Access. Endgame content, deeper build systems, and narrative branches are not in this version; they're areas we'll explore with the community during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price low during Early Access and may adjust it when the full version launches or the content expands significantly. Any price change will be announced to the community in advance, and anyone who buys during Early Access will get all future updates for free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is the main reason we chose Early Access, not an add-on. We'll keep collecting input through the Steam forums, our official Discord, and the in-game feedback channel, and we'll post regular dev logs explaining which feedback we've acted on and what changed as a result. We especially want to hear about weapon design, enemy mechanics, level pacing, and difficulty curves—the final shape of those areas will come from community feedback and our internal testing together. Player input won't just be "noted"; it will feed directly into our development priorities.”

About This Game

Story

In Ivy City, a group of people who had undergone a certain treatment returned to their lives. Weeks later, they began losing control one after another—collapsing, then rising again. The hospital was the first to fall: the injured flocked there on instinct, until the dead in the morgue opened their eyes. Then came the emergency lines, the cell towers, and the roads out of the city. By the time the military drove in and strung up barbed wire, the city had already been painted in two colors on their maps: safe zones holding survivors, and clearance zones abandoned entirely, left for the "living dead" to wander.

On the military's maps, Ivy High School sits deep inside a clearance zone, a place where no one should still be alive. But one day, the military picked up a radio signal coming from there...

Characters

Todd

Todd is the Student Council President. He hand-drew emergency evacuation maps for every part of the school, down to the entrances of the underground tunnels. Step into a new map and that map unfolds right in front of you.

Lily

Lily comes from a martial arts family. She's petite, always has candy in her bag, and is often mistaken for a lost underclassman. In a real fight, there may be no one among these eight who moves more cleanly than she does. Using a pressure-point technique passed down in her family, she can shield a teammate from one attack.
