About This Game

Shanghai, 1994. After leaving his youth team, a young footballer must find a way to support himself and earn another trial. The current playable Shanghai chapter combines decisions on the pitch with a story about life beyond it.

Control one player

Move your protagonist with the keyboard while AI teammates and opponents handle their own positioning, passing, attacks and defence. Play pauses for an action choice when you gain possession or move into a valid interception opportunity. Choose a teammate for a pass or an angle for a shot. Continuing to dribble leaves a compact action bar for your next move.

Find another chance

Play an 11-a-side youth assessment, six-player 3v3 weekly matches and ten club training games. Navigate the Shanghai map, take newspaper and bookshop shifts, travel and rest as you earn money and pursue the story. Match results come from play; a defeat does not erase your individual record or prevent the story from continuing.

Build your player

Choose a name and position, allocate starting attributes, and manage twelve equipment positions and two separate player-card slots. Browse a collection of fictional footballers. The later story includes a substitute appearance, awakening a special shot, receiving a fragment card, equipping it and returning to the ongoing match. Special shots can still be saved, blocked or miss the target.

Current scope

This version contains the playable Shanghai chapter and local saves. In-game menus and story text are in Simplified Chinese. Keyboard and mouse are required. This English description does not indicate English-language support in the game.
