Early Access Software

Get involved with this software as it develops.

Note: This Early Access software is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to use this software in its current state, then you should wait to see if it progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“VTuberPro Workstation already provides usable tools for creating, rigging, and animating VTuber avatars. However, the software is still under active development, and several aspects of avatar movement and physics editing are not yet as flexible or polished as we intend them to be.

We are entering Early Access to gather feedback from VTuber creators and artists using the software in real-world workflows.

Our main development goals include expanding natural head rotation, introducing independent physics controls for accessories, and improving the supported rotation range of hair parts.

Throughout Early Access, we plan to continue improving these features, addressing reported issues, and refining usability and stability. We will use community feedback to guide development toward a more complete and reliable version 1.0.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last approximately six months. We plan to improve automatic rigging quality and usability across a variety of user environments. This timeframe may change depending on development progress and user feedback. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core tools needed to create, rig, and animate VTuber avatars. However, some motion ranges and advanced physics customization options are still limited.

For the full release, we are focusing on three major improvements:

**1. Expanded Head Rotation**

The current version supports approximately 15 degrees of natural-looking head rotation. We aim to expand this to approximately 30 degrees while maintaining natural-looking avatar deformation at wider angles.

**2. Independent Physics for Accessories**

We plan to introduce separate physics controls for accessories such as earrings, allowing users to adjust their motion independently from other avatar parts.

**3. Improved Hair Rotation Range**

We plan to expand the supported rotation range of hair parts, allowing hair to follow wider head movements more naturally.

In addition, we intend to improve interface consistency, performance, stability, and the overall editing experience.

These are our current development goals, and their implementation may be refined based on testing and community feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the core workflow from a front-facing illustration to a moving avatar: local AI part separation, automatic rigging, hair and body motion controls, face, eye and mouth editing, layer editing, webcam face tracking, microphone-driven mouth movement, avatar library management, and a dedicated output window for OBS. Compatible, already-separated See-through PSD files can also be imported directly. Automatic results depend on the artwork and may need manual refinement. AI part separation requires a compatible NVIDIA CUDA GPU. Please check the system requirements before purchasing. ”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to maintain the same base price throughout Early Access and after the full release. We do not currently plan to increase the price when VTuberPro Workstation reaches version 1.0.

The software is a one-time purchase, with no additional per-use fees for avatar creation or rigging.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“During Early Access, we plan to use Steam Community Discussions to collect bug reports, feature suggestions, and feedback on avatar creation, rigging, physics, and general usability.

We will review community feedback to help prioritize bug fixes and improvements. We also plan to share development updates through Steam announcements and communicate with users through the Steam Community.”

About This Software

Your first avatar shouldn’t start with a rigging lesson.

Start with one front-facing character illustration. VTuberPro Workstation uses AI to separate the parts and automatic rigging to get them moving. Skip commissioning the rigging and start shaping your own avatar, without first learning a complex rigging workflow.

Buy once. Create as many avatars as you like.

No generation credits. No per-avatar rigging fees. No generation limits.
After purchasing the app, create and rig more characters without additional generation or rigging charges. Try another look, start again, or build a whole cast. AI processing runs on your own supported NVIDIA GPU.

Start with a drawing. Give it a performance.

Import an illustration and let AI separate it into parts. Automatic rigging gives you a starting point for movement, so you can get into the creative work: making the character feel like yours.

Already have a compatible See-through layered PSD? Import it directly and move straight into rigging, without running AI image separation again.

Find the movement that makes it yours.

Fine-tune eyes, mouth movement, head response, and hair motion with a live preview. Refine layers and rig settings, adjust the way hair follows a turn, and add PNG props to your character. A head tilt, a blink, a little extra bounce: the details give your avatar its personality.

Move. Speak. Let your character respond.

Use webcam-based face tracking and microphone-driven mouth movement to perform through your avatar. Adjust tracking, mouth response, and motion settings to suit your character and the way you present.

Bring your cast to OBS.

Save your characters in the Library, choose an avatar in your Home workspace, and send it to a dedicated output window for OBS Window Capture. Your editing interface stays out of the output.

Keep refining an avatar in Studio while the current version stays on air. Apply the updated version to your broadcast when you are ready.

Create locally. Keep your characters together.

AI image processing runs locally on a supported NVIDIA GPU. Save and reopen Avatar Packs that keep your character assets and settings together, so you can return to an avatar, refine its performance, and use it again.

Before you start

  • Designed for front-facing character illustrations. Automatic results vary with the artwork and may need manual refinement.
  • AI image separation requires a supported NVIDIA CUDA GPU. Importing a compatible, already separated See-through PSD lets you skip this AI step.
  • Face tracking requires a webcam. Microphone-driven mouth movement requires a microphone.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

VTuberPro Workstation uses locally running AI models to separate user-provided character illustrations into avatar parts, reconstruct hidden areas, and estimate depth. The AI processing runs on the user's PC rather than an external AI service. Some pre-generated artwork, including the app icon and built-in accessories, and interface translations were created with AI assistance. Automatic results vary with the input artwork and may require manual editing.

System Requirements

    Minimum:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or better
    • Additional Notes: Minimum requirements cover editing, rigging and broadcasting with compatible pre-separated PSD files or saved avatars. AI part separation additionally requires the NVIDIA GPU and VRAM specified under Recommended. Webcam and microphone are needed for their respective tracking features.
    Recommended:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or better
    • Memory: 16 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series or newer with at least 6 GB VRAM (for AI part separation)
    • Additional Notes: AI part separation: NVIDIA CUDA GPU required. The 6 GB low-memory configuration is experimental. Performance and memory use vary with processing resolution and model settings.
