À propos de ce jeu

The machines won. They took the cities, the roads and the sky. What they didn't count on was four kids, a bunker full of Dad's old tools, and a device that can switch every last one of them off. There's just one problem: the key is broken into four pieces.

Bring your crew. Invite up to three Steam friends and play 4-player online co-op, in Endless or any story chapter you've all reached. Each of you plays your own kid with their own ride, gadgets and build. The machines get tougher with every friend, the haul is split fairly at the end, and a downed survivor can be pulled back up by a teammate. Or play solo: every mode works just as well alone.

You move and your gadgets fire on their own: laser eyes, tesla packs, saw wheels, rocket pods, railguns, and more. Robots don't just pop, they come apart. Armour flies off, arms snap, wheels roll away, and the good pieces glow gold as salvage you can bring home.

  • Thousands of robots on screen, even on a normal laptop

  • 17 gadgets and 10 modules, four slots each, so every run is a different build

  • 50 relics that twist the rules for a run

Some units are too big to just break. Knock one down, jack into it with your wrist computer, and it gets back up on your side. Then climb on and steer it straight into the crowd. It picks up junk from every kill, and when it's about to blow, you jump off.

Each kid carries a quarter of the key, and each one plays differently:

  • Milo: on foot, with a hand blaster and a quick dodge

  • Juno: on a hoverboard, with a long dash that cuts robots in half

  • Bruno: in a scrap kart, heavy and armoured, and he rams everything

  • Skye: on a jetpack, with a burst jump that lands as a shockwave

Wardens crash in every few minutes. The story bosses each carry part of the device on their backs: the Crusher, the Harvester, the Stormcaller and the Warbringer. Take them apart... and find out what happens when the wrecks get back up together.

Story mode: five hand-built chapters, from a name on Dad's old tape to the night the whole city goes dark. The story is told in short in-engine cutscenes, with no walls of text.

Endless: a new city every time, and no time limit. Charge the relays, survive the Wardens, pull the one-shot slot machines, and take down the Overseer, Dad's first design. Then keep going: the machines never stop coming, and every minute they get tougher, faster than the minute before. How long can you last?

Between runs, go home. Build new gadgets at Dad's workbench from scrap and salvaged robot parts, buy permanent upgrades, read the journal, and pick who heads out next.
