“I want to add a campaign and possibly even multiplayer, but I need to make sure the basic mechanics work first. And that requires players and feedback.”

“I do not believe it will be more than 4-6 months.”

“At the moment the game has a quick game mode, but I would like a story driven campaign and potentially multiplayer too.”

“The basic mechanics are fully playable and the Quick mode is fully there, including missions and an end state.”

About This Game

Herexis is a simple turn based strategy game inspired by Laser Squad on the Sinclair Spectrum. Hire merc, arm them and then send them off to collect bounties as you build up your experience, skill and resources to prepare for the final challenge, taking on the very hive of the Pirate threat.

  • Simple retro style graphics

  • Simple retro style turn based gameplay

  • Quick strategy including overwatch, line of sight and the fog of war.

  • The enemy will use the same equipment and tactics, or will just rush you en masse.

  • Research and upgrade your ship and troops.
