Step into the metal hands of a robot operator and turn crowded factory machinery into a cleared work area. ONE MILLION BOLTS is a first-person dismantling simulator where every removed cover reveals new connections, valuable components and the next piece of the job.

Take it apart, layer by layer

Match your multitool head to the fastener, loosen the bolts and pry apart stubborn seams. Cut welds with the grinder, disconnect services and expose the machinery beneath the casing. Recover motors, copper windings and structural parts as you work from the outer panels toward the final frame.

Build a better-equipped workshop

Sell recovered materials and invest in tools, robot upgrades and equipment that help you tackle more demanding work. Unlock plasma cutting for structural sections, improve your lifting strength and discover rare components for prototype upgrades. Repair freight lifts to move yourself and your tool cart between floors.

Put your helpers to work

Buy and upgrade a fleet of up to three tracked helper robots. Equip them for bolts, cutting or prying, then let them handle accessible work while you open the next layer. Add grippers to recover released components. In the large factory hall, repair the overhead crane and clear a route for heavy loads to reach dispatch.

Share the shift

Work alone or join a crew of up to four robot operators, all in first person. Share tools, hand equipment to teammates and coordinate tricky jobs: hold a spinning nut, lift a heavy frame together or cut a seam from opposite ends. Use proximity voice to stay in touch and celebrate a finished job with a metal-on-metal high-five.

Make every shift count

Choose a factory hall and work through generated machinery layouts with varied equipment and layered connections. Follow career objectives, complete shift contracts and uncover rare finds. Invest your earnings, return to saved progress and watch the crowded machinery become open space.

Co-op connection information

Co-op currently uses direct connections to a host. Internet play may require port forwarding or a VPN; Steam friend invitations and matchmaking are not currently supported. Shared career progress is saved by the host.
