Your code becomes your combat strategy.

CO-DRONE is a wave survival action game about piloting and programming a combat drone. Move and aim directly, or automate your drone with game-specific commands that resemble Python. Watch the battle, refine your code, and build your own approach to survival.

From direct control to automation

Learn the battlefield with keyboard and mouse controls. Unlock detection, conditions, loops, and more through the skill tree, then let your drone handle more decisions. Your code determines which enemies to prioritize, when to create distance, and when to use your weapons.

Design your attacks and evasive moves

Detect enemies and projectiles, and write routines that respond to telegraphed boss attacks. New enemy types and wave modifiers give you reasons to revisit your strategy. Observe the results and revise your code for the next fight.

Expand your strategy with weapons

Defeat bosses and choose weapon rewards. Unlock and upgrade seven special weapons: sawblades, chain lightning, pulse novas, homing missiles, gravity singularities, proximity mines, and orbiting blades. Program when to use them and operate multiple weapons together.

Keep going beyond the campaign

Defeat the final boss at wave 60 to continue into endless mode. Raise the difficulty with overload levels, or tackle five separate challenges using code alone, with manual controls disabled. Swamps, boost pads, geysers, and wave modifiers add new conditions for your routines to handle.
